Hello, I'm Director Fresh, a film director hailing from Houma, Louisiana. I moved to Lake Charles, La right after finishing high school in 2008 and since then, I've been on a journey.  In 2012 I began pursuing my passion for filmmaking. As a self-taught writer, director, editor, and filmmaker, I've always had a love for storytelling, and I use film as my medium to explore themes like identity, love, and violence.

My journey started by creating comedic skits on Facebook and short films on YouTube with one of my best friends and fellow creator, Steve Corbin jr. Soon after, I began filming weddings, TV commercials, and music videos, gaining experience and refining my craft. However, my true passion lies in creating stories that challenge and inspire people.

In 2018, I made my first big project, The Kickback, an 18-minute short film that garnered critical acclaim and was well-received by the local audience. It was followed up in 2019 with a sequel, The Kickback 2, which was also a hit with the fans, and both shorts sold out at local screenings, with The Kickback 2 selling over 300 tickets.

More recently, I completed an 8-episode web series titled Black Blood: The Series, which features the largest cast I've ever worked with, and it's my most dynamic and best project to date. I'm extremely proud of the work we accomplished on this series and can't wait for audiences to see it.

My ultimate goal is to direct Hollywood-level movies and to teach others how to tell their own stories. I believe that everyone has a unique voice, and I'm passionate about helping others find theirs. I have a love for the unconventional, the weird, and the quirky, and I'm always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of storytelling.

I'm excited about the future and can't wait to see where this journey takes me. Thank you for joining me on this ride!
